PART 1 - REDUCE
There are many ways to REDUCE the environmental impact of your packaging:
- Reduce energy consumption at sourcing, manufacturing, transportation
- Reduce material use or source bio-materials
- Reduce weight of your overall packaging
- Reduce the thickness of the walls of your bottle, jar, box or else
- Remove Labels, inner parts or extra packaging
- Use packaging with multi functionalities: holder, brand leaflet engraved inside paperboard, etc.
PAPER SQUEEZABLE BOTTLE
About
Containing a minimum of 50% FSC-certified paper content (without cap or pump), the Albéa Tubes unique paper-based web structure contributes to reducing plastic content, lowering the carbon footprint of its packaging for a better environmental impact.
With this responsible breakthrough innovation, Albéa Tubes could offer a whole range of paper-based solutions including tubes and bottles, available in kraft and white for a great look&feel.
Premium decoration options are available with embossing, debossing, and hot stamping to create a sensorial experience around the product suiting dermo-cosmetics brands as well as premium prestige brands.
Albéa tubes will be able to produce the paper-based bottle, currently at the proof- of-concept stage, in Sainte-Ménéhould, France.

EARTH BEAT DENIM RECYCLED DENIM LIPSTICK
About
Earth Beat Denim Lipstick by Cosmei gives new life to old jeans thanks to the upcycling of denim fibers that are used to create the packaging. The refill stick is made of cellulose acetate containing these upcycled denim fibers, giving the product a vintage vibe.
The color mélange cannot be replicated, so every single piece is as unique as an original vintage piece. Denim cellulose acetate is a bio-based polymer, made of 60% wood pulp, 10% upcycled denim fibers and 30% bio-based compound polymer.

MOON - by Verescence
Developed in collaboration with renowned designer De Baschmakoff.
- The MOON bottle weighs 106 g for 100 ml. Offers organic shape features an off-center neck while preserving perfect symmetry of the bottle's faces, offering a comfortable grip at the same time.
- The GEM bottle weighs 97 g for 100 ml. Offers a geometrical design with sharp angles and a broad octagonal facing, making it look like a precious gem.
The bottles are refillable (SNI 15 screw neck) to optimise their impact on the environment. With the aim of offering its customers a 100% eco-designed concept, the bottles are personalised with a spherical mono-material LegnaPin cap made by premium wood component maker Minelli Spa (mPackting).

DIGITALLY PRINTED TUBE
About
For Herbária’s popular Marigold Balm, Neopac utilized its sophisticated digital print technology so that smaller, customized runs can be nimbly produced with substantially reduced lead times. The technique applies text and decorations directly to the product’s polyethylene (PE) tube.
Why it’s interesting / sustainable:
The advanced direct digital printing capabilities allow Herbária to stay in stock without over-ordering, limiting materials waste, transportation costs and storage requirements.
The 100ml tubes for Herbária’s Marigold Balm are printed with high-resolution, photo-realistic graphics that vividly portray the product’s regenerative properties.

PAPERX TUBE
About
PaperX Tube for sun care lotions, body and face care creams, and toothpaste. Available with flip-top closures, the tubes are offered in diameters ranging from 35-50 millimeters, and can house products in volumes from 40-250 milliliters. While earlier generations of paper tubes had some limitations in filling and sealing, PaperX tubes make no compromises: they can be easily filled and sealed on standard tube filling lines.
Why it’s interesting / sustainable
PaperX Tubes fall into a growing category of blended paper/plastic solutions for which recycling is yet to be clearly defined in every country. Recycling authorities in various geographies are currently conducting efforts to build appropriate streams for this new crop of sustainable packaging. In addition, Neopac is currently developing low-profile caps and shoulderless concepts for the PaperX Tubes.

BEAUTY ACCESSORIES - TEXEN
About - multipurpose accessories reduce packaging use and waste
Double Brush. At one end, a stainless steel ball preps the skin with a massage, activating microcirculation. The other serves to apply the formula and unify the complexion.
Double Face. This accessory dispenses loose powder and fixes it in place with its foam tip. Bid farewell to jars and powder puffs!
Double Lips. A solid formula and a foam applicator go hand in hand for a multitude of makeup solutions associating all types of formulas…matt and creamy, colored and nude, to shimmer or to fix… all in two applications.

BIO PU SPONGES
About
New collection of sponges for face and body care, and for make-up by COSMOGEN is made of bio-based polyurethane, a material manufactured from corn, cassava, sugar cane juice, castor oil and plant pigments.
On the care side: The face sponge is easy to use thanks to an insert designed for the fingers while the body sponge has a generous size. Their texture allows you to combine cleansing and light exfoliation, using circular movements.
On the make-up side: the sponges have a much finer texture, suitable for applying make-up, concealer, foundation or highlighter. They can be used wet or dry, depending on the expected coverage. The two models, in the shape of a peach (2 sizes) or a half-heart, each have a rounded part and a pointed part, ready for all situations.
