Intuitive and easy to use

Albéa has released an upgraded version of its Twirl refillable jar with a connected cap for a more accessible design with ergonomy and ease of use.

The Cap is attached to the base, so there is no more risk of falling, and it offers a practical use. The screwing movement is reduced with just an eighth of turn (45°) to open the jar. The cap has a 180° angle for an elegant opening gesture like a jewellery box, more precious than classic jars.

The packaging is mono-material and refillable with the twirl cup.

Mono-material x 3R

Launched in June 2024 and manufactured in Europe by Molpack, who has developed a refillable jar. the M3R jar, for Recyclable, Recycled and Refill Jar.

It is made up of 3 fully customizable pieces:

  • Glass jar with high transparency and weight at its base to increase the premium feel of the final set.
  • PP cap on the inside and PP or R-PP PCR on the outside.
  • Refill bucket made of PP and available of course, in PCR materials and in the % that the client desires up to 100%.

Packaging is easily refillable thanks to the design of the bucket with a tab that, once the product is consumed, makes it much easier to be removed from the jar to be replaced with a new one. A refill piece that is completely airtight until its moment of use and is 100% PP, allowing the content of a wide variety of cosmetic formulas of very varied viscosities.

All the pieces are customizable. And that the cap can be personalized with high or low relief engraving, thus expanding the premium finishing options that this jar offers to brands.

Currently available in 50 ml capacity and more capacities soon.

Using aluminium to bring a different feel to the jar

Meiyume has released a stock packaging, a refillable aluminium jar that combines functionality and recyclability. The dual-layer cap brings durability and aesthetics. The inner pod is in PP, and minimises plastic use while remaining recyclable along with current recycling streams.

Marrying minimalist design with sustainability. The jar double-wall cap
cleverly conceals the thread, providing an elegant, streamlined look.

Crafted from eco-friendly, infinitely recyclable aluminium, the IRIS collection uses a lightweight design that optimizes packaging for greater efficiency and reduces shipping volume.

With refillable options that further enhance sustainability, each piece in the IRIS line offers a responsible solution for skincare, colour cosmetics, body care, and hair care.

Tailored for masstige brands, IRIS balances eco-conscious design with practical functionality, making it easier to embrace sustainability without compromising on quality or aesthetic appeal.

When brand develops a packaging design with Neuroscience

Sisley’s new brand Neurae is a skincare line built around neuroscience. The collection includes a serum, cream, lotion, balm, and Emotion boosters that come in the form of roll-on fragrances.

Why it’s interesting
Partisan du Sens created the primary packaging design, which combines wood and textured glass.

The bespoke 50ml cream jar and 50ml serum bottle are made of 15% recycled glass. The refillable cream jar features a refill made of PP and decorated with a mat lacquer. The jar is decorated with stripes on the glass container to create a special visual and feel effect for the connection of the senses. The stripes are repeated on the PP refill.

Both the serum bottle and jar are topped with maple-wood caps with PP inner; the serum comes with a dropper applicator.
