From new baby fragrance to krush paper, and sustainability goals

From Coverpla supporting the launch of Biolane fragrance to Albéa achieving its sustainability goals.

Coverpla takes part in the birth of the new Biolane fragrance for infants.

When Biolane Expert returns to pharmacies with new perfumed water for babies, the brand leaves nothing to chance. A delicate scent was elaborated carefully in a glass bottle fitted with a wooden cap, denoting a gentle image. Coverpla piloted the packaging project by selecting personalised models for the occasion.

Well known for its emblematic Skin Freshening Fragrance with its large bottle, Biolane Expert is returning to pharmacies with My First Perfumed Water. The brand focused on targeted development to mark this strategic launch. The specially formulated juice combines notes of orange and freesia enveloped in a
powdery floral heart to delicately scent baby’s skin.

Coverpla: the perfect fairy godmother Biolane Expert trusted Biotherm for its original mix-and-match approach and its personalization of ready-to-go products. The brand chose the soft, rounded shape of the Oslo bottle in a 50ml format, treated explicitly with a frosted finish to protect the formula. The bottle is topped with the Torrid wooden cap, fitted with an insert made from recycled PP in a natural shade to match the brush in the gift pack in which it is sold. In the same natural vein, the bottle’s décor is achieved using white screen printing.

“We don’t regret entrusting our partner COVERPLA with this project. The company’s development team effectively accompanied our collaborators, offering alternative solutions that aligned with what we sought. Thanks to their advice and expertise, we have developed a product that is truly on brand,” says Jimmy Bossus.

The Albéa Group publishes its 6th annual voluntary Sustainable Development Report.

Two years before the completion of its roadmap for 2019-2025, Albéa takes stock of the achievements and the remaining challenges. This year's report is structured around the ten working axes of the Group such as health and safety, climate change, responsible packaging, ethics and skills and employability.

François Tassart, CEO of Albéa Group says: “This report provides a transparent overview of the status of the commitments we took in 2019 to our stakeholders and have been working on ever since. While much progress has been made in many areas such as our scope 1 and 2 decarbonation program, our social audits and the incorporation of recycled material in our products, we are aware that there is still a long way to go in some others. But all our teams are working towards our 2025 objectives.”
