Clarins introduces its first refillable jar with Albéa Cosmetics & Fragrance.

Eva Lagarde

In line with Clarins’ sustainable development commitments, Albéa manufactures its new eco-designed jar.

Albéa Cosmetics & Fragrance contributes to the launch of Clarins' very first refillable jar, by producing the cap and the inner cup of the Extra-Firming Cream [collagen]3 Technology.

Manufactured at Albéa Simandre in France, the Group's center of excellence for packaging and metallization of skincare products, the cap is made from recycled PET and metallized with a pearlescent finish, while the inner cup is made from tinted virgin PP. Both parts are bi-injected for a flawless, high-quality finish. Each refill is not just a choice; it's a significant step towards sustainable development.

This new eco-designed packaging required over 2 years of research and development. Refilling a cream twice helps reduce the environmental footprint by 84%*.
