Which Beauty Trends were revealed at the latest MakeUp in Paris
MakeUp in Paris celebrated its 15th edition, last week on 18-19 June, and welcomed 4,480 visitors including incredible brands like Benefit Cosmetics, Chanel, Charlotte Tilbury, Clarins, Embryolisse, Givenchy Beauty, L’Oréal, Nuxe, Shiseido, Summer Fridays, Westman Atelier.
The show has announced the winners of the IT Awards (suppliers’ innovations) as well as the Beauty Tank (new start-ups), providing us with insights into the future of beauty. From 3D printing, to pencil made of wax for full natural container as well as Ocean sourced beauty, here is our selection of the latest innovations.

IT AWARDS celebrating the best in class beauty innovation
Accessories
A 3D printed brush by Pennellifaro, the Italian specialist in make-up brushes. Based on 3D resin printing, FUTURA showcases a new manufacturing process for applicators that requires no moulds and generates no waste. This method allows for greater customisation, functionality, and sustainability.
Full-Service
The Eco-Formelt Multi-Pencil by Cosmax. It is a makeup pencil moulded in a wax container to avoid plastic and other waste. It makes it an all-in-one makeup pencil made from recycled materials and plant-based waxes. It delivers a transfer-resistant application with textures ranging from glossy to matte. The upcycled cap is made from recycled PETG, and the transparent label is crafted from corn starch.
Formulation
The non-transfer, crystal-watery lipstick by A&H cosmetics. A lipstick formulated with patented oil and wax-based double-film technology that seals in colour and shine, its soft, melting texture glides easily over lips, creating a glossy, crystalline finish. It is super long-lasting, even with a wax and oil-based formula, making it moisture-retaining.
Packaging
The Cheeky, a new lipstick mechanism By La French Company & CAP innovation. It is a patented lipstick that is 100% recyclable, fully customizable, and refillable, with a bullet that does not crush. Designed to be made from recycled single materials, it is also adaptable to various materials such as aluminium, glass, and more.by
Ocean Beauty Award - Formulation
The Water Dazzle Top Coat by Gotha Cosmetics is a red algae-infused formula. An “all-over stick, with wet-effect sparkling results, thrills and inspires creativity and self-expression.” It is a refreshing, rich formula with 70% water that glides gently on the skin while offering high pigment rendering and a cool feel at application. It has a lightweight, soft and shimmery texture ,and it is infused with red seaweed (chondrus crispus), offering a jellifying effect, hence the perfect glide.
