Quadpack upgrades its new tube dropper

Conceived by Quadpack’s creative hub last year, Wanderer introduced exclusive flow-control technology to deliver perfect, drop-by-drop actuation of low-viscosity products.

Now, the Wanderer Divine has been re-engineered with a luxury pipette for a high-end look and feel. This aesthetic innovation aligns the product with prestige brands. Moreover, the transparency of the material makes the drops visible as they travel through the pipette, for an enhanced sensory experience.

Wanderer is designed for liquid products, including oils, serums and boosters. It features Quadpack’s unique flow-control disc, which forces the formula to ‘wander’ around a circuit of physical obstacles to create resistance, before being released, drop by single drop. Users use the tube in a familiar way, applying the required pressure to dispense the formula.

Wanderer Divine replaces the polypropylene (PP) pipette with one made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). Strict dimensional control ensures the precise tolerances required to attach the flow-control disc to the more rigid material and guarantees the same high performance. The properties of PET enable total transparency, adding visibility and desirability for greater luxury differentiation. Creative decoration and selection of the proportions – 19 or 25mm diameter with a flush or shouldered design – results in a premium-looking pack that’s convenient and precise.

Available as single or multi-layer, with an EVOH protective barrier, Wanderer Divine can contain post-consumer recycled material: up to 100% in the cap and 50% PCR in the monolayer tube or 50% in the outer sleeve of the multi-layer tube.

The Wanderer platform is being developed with different pipette designs and new discs for other types of formulas, to give more choice in terms of the desired application experience.

Quadpack launches Dropify, a dropper with a press button on its head.

First presented at LuxePack Monaco 2024, Quadpack is now releasing the dropify bottle on the market. It is a new dosage-control dropper, with a fresh new gesture, one-handed usage and in-built sustainability features.

Dropify Bottle simplifies the skincare routine of oils and serums with a new, one-handed gesture. This solution is refillable and is made of recyclable materials, with options for recycled content.

Its side-actuated system features a soft-touch button for single-handed usage. With a gentle press of the button, the pipette releases the formula drop by drop, avoiding messy dispensing. Two inner nozzle types are available, each with a flow path optimised for either oils or serums. When not in use, the bottle stands upright, an attractive addition to any bathroom shelf.

The pack comprises a premium glass bottle (30ml or 50ml) and a polypropylene (PP) applicator head, with a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) soft button and a PP cap. The PP components can contain post-consumer recycled material. Moreover, the applicator and cap can be detached for reuse on refill bottles. Life-cycle assessment data is available to help brands to measure their product’s environmental impact and calculate their Scope 3 carbon footprint.

Aimed at cosmeceutical and masstige/prestige brands, it blends a pharmaceutical feel with a premium look, which can be decorated using a host of techniques. Colour gradients can be applied to the bottle, while the applicator boasts a smooth, matte finish.
