Green innovations in Paris this week
After visiting the new upgraded version of Paris Packaging Week which boasted about 830 visitors, we walk about 8km per day, we found a interesting innovations in this beginning of 2025.
The main trends that we have identified at the event were about Augmented Experience with sensorial and ever-luxurious packaging, Intuitive Refillable for easier and fun-filled formats, Touch & Feel packaging for a more etheral, natural, and emotional connection to the product, and last but not least Nostalgy with old formats made new.

Bormioli Luigi celebrates 10 years of the Inside, a green innovation in decoration
Launched 10 years ago, the Inside by Bormioli Luigi lacquering technique quickly became a code of the house. Over the years, brands have benefitted from a range of innovations and improvements: application technologies, shade selection, lacquer composition, and environmental footprint. Initially dedicated to bottles in simple shapes, Inside has been adapted to even the most complex forms, as well as to cosmetics jars and makeup products like glass lipstick packaging with formula compatibility.
The Inside decoration technique respects eco-design principles and has a very good comparative life-cycle analysis score. The water-based lacquers offer lower consumption than external lacquers and do not disperse particles into the atmosphere.
Hyléance launches the puRe Twist
A model based on a mechanism comparable to that of a lipstick. The solid grape is cast on a support that makes it easy to use the mechanism, protects it and ensures that the product is fully and allows the product to be returned in its entirety. The consumer only throws away the ring (10 times less plastic to recycle). Depending on the casting format, the grape can be square or rounded at the top rounded at the top, depending on the desired application: sunscreen deodorant, moisturisers, hair products, masks, illuminators, blushes, solid foundation.
Verescence released Last Drop
A dropper with a concave bottom for a better absorption and delivery of the formula into the dropper for use of the product until the very Last Drop.
Meiyume developed a full aluminium tube with an added accessory / applicator in full aluminium as well for better recyclability. The tip of the application as well as the tube can be customised for a different metallic finish.
The Groupe Pochet has released a haircare range in glass to answer the skinification and premiumisation of haircare.
The range comprises bottles, jars in different capacities and serum dropper for a full offering.
The Group Pochet is also now offering a full "LCA" on their products lines. They have developed a dedicated offer to allow clients visibility on the Life Cycle Analysis for assessment, optimisation and adjustments when necessary. This innovation contributes to the trend of transparency to allow brands and consumers access to hidden information and allow every actor in the chain to make informed decisions. The system is not accessible live, but only on demand to protect industrial property, but it's a step in the right direction.
